ABOUT OUR AREA

Lewiston Lake:
(directly in front of the resort)
Approximately 8 miles long, its water comes from the bottom of Trinity Lake keeping the temperature approximately 45 to 50 degrees year round. It has a 10-mph speed limit for the entire lake and is home to rainbow trout, brook trout, German brown trout and kokanee.
Cabins Trinity Lake:  (5 miles north)
Only 5 miles north of Lakeview Terrace Resort is the southern most end of Trinity Lake. With its 145 miles of shoreline, it offers plenty of room for water sports such as skiing, swimming, and boating and is also home for small and large mouth bass, kokanee, rainbow and German brown trout.

Trinity River:  (4 miles south)
Below Lewiston Dam, the first 2 miles of the Trinity River are designated fly-fishing only/catch and release. The river is home to silver and king salmon, steelhead, and German brown trout. If rafting is what you like, the Trinity offers opportunities for guided and do-it-yourself trips.

Lewiston:  (5 miles south)
The town of Lewiston offers several restaurants, a bar, convenience stores, and a gas station. Take time to walk down the street in old town and you will be tracing the route of the stagecoaches from the gold mining era. Drive up the road one mile and you can visit the Trinity River Fish Hatchery.
